Information for away games

Below are directions to the home rinks of most of the Associations that AAHA teams play. Corrections, clarifications, and alternate routes should be sent to the webmaster at webmaster@aahahockey.com. If you cannot locate the association/rink you are looking for, click here to goto WAHA's arena information page.

Arrowhead

  • Howard G. Mullett Ice Center, 700 North Ave.,  Hartland, WI 53029, (262) 369-3600
    • Hwy 41 south to Milwaukee (becomes Hwy 45)
    • Exit I-94 west
    • Exit Hwy 16 West
    • Exit at Merton Ave/North Ave.
    • Follow signs to North Ave. and turn right
    • Arena is on grounds of Arrowhead HS about 2 blocks north of Hwy 16.

Eagle River

    • Head north on Ballard until county JJ.
    • Take a left heading west onto JJ untiI highway 47 North
    • Turn right onto 47 North
    • Note: 47 North combines with 29 West (before Shawano) until you get to 45 North.
    • Take 45 North all the way to Eagle River
    • Take a left and the rinks are on the left in a couple miles

Elmbrook

    • Go 3-4 miles
    • At top of hill by the Brookfield water tower turn left (south) at Calhoun Rd.

    • Take Michigan 35 N through Escanaba
    • Drive past Bay de Noc Community College
    • Look for Delta Do-It Center on left
    • Take a left on 17.4 Road across the Mich 35 highway at teh Delta Do-It Center
    • Complex is straight ahead

    • exit business 51 (exit 185) and turn right

    • Arena is behind high school

Fond du Lac

    • Hwy 41 south
    • Take US-151, exit 97B
    • Turn left on US-151 (Military Rd.) and go 1.5 miles to Western Avenue
    • Turn right on Western Ave. (still US-151)
    • Go 0.25 mile to Main Street. Turn right on Main St.
    • Go approx. 0.1 mile to 6th St. (US-45). Turn left on 6th St. (US-45)
    • Go approx. 0.75 mile to Fond du Lac Avenue. Bear right onto Fond du Lac Ave.
    • Arena is approx. 0.25 mile on the right.

Kenosha

  • IcePlex (Prairie Springs Park), 9900 Terwall Terrace, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, (262) 925-6755
    • From the Milwaukee area (get there how you like!)
    • Take I-94 or Merge from 894 to I-94 heading South (Chicago)
    • Continue south for approximately 36 miles.
    • Take the WI-165/Lakeview Parkway/CR-Q exit (Exit#347)
    • Turn LEFT onto CR-Q/Wi-165/104th St.
    • Continue to follow Wi-165E./104th St.
    • Turn LEFT at the Pleasant Prairie Park entrance. Land Marks:Lake and Ball Diamonds If you should miss the entrance continue over the bridge, and turn LEFT onto CR-H/88th Ave. Cross the railroad tracks, and the back entrance will be on your LEFT.
    • End at 9900 Terwall Terrace Pleasant Prairie WI.

    • go straight on Cty B when Hwy 153 turns

    • Arena is on 11th St.

Oshkosh

  • Oshkosh YMCA, 3303 20th Ave., Oshkosh, WI 54905, (920) 230-8439
    • Take 41 South
    • Take the 9th Ave. exit off of Hwy. 41.
    • Turn right on 9th Ave, proceed immediately to left lane
    • Turn left onto Washburn - the first stop light.
    • Continue on Washburn to 20th Ave.
    • Turn right on 20th Ave. and travel 1.5 miles.
    • The YMCA will be on your left.
  • Oshkosh YMCA (Alternate Route)
    • Take 41 South
    • Take the 9th Ave. exit off of Hwy. 41.
    • Turn right on 9th Ave
    • Go past Affinity Mercy Medical Center and The Kennedy Center for Hip & Knee.
    • Turn left at the four-way stop by the hospital onto Oakwood.
    • Continue on Oakwood until you reach 20th Ave.
    • Turn right onto 20th Ave., go 1/2 mile and theY MCA is on your left.
  • Oshkosh YMCA (From South of Oshkosh)
    • Take 41 North
    • Take the Hwy 26 exit off of Hwy. 41.
    • Turn left and proceed over Hwy. 41 to the second set of stop lights.
    • Turn right on to Washburn.
    • Travel on Washburn to the first set of lights and take a left onto 20th Ave.
    • Travel 1.5 miles on 20th Ave.
    • The YMCA will be on your left hand side.

Ozaukee

    • Hwy 41 south
    • exit Hwy 60 and go east towards Hartford/Jackson
    • at light (and PDQ gas station) at 5 Corners (about 12.5 miles) turn right on Hwy 143 (Washington Ave)
    • stay to the right, and quickly bear right on Hwy 181 (Wauwatosa Road)
    • turn left on Pioneer Rd. (County Road C)
    • arena is on south side (right) of Pioneer Rd.

    • Merge onto US-51 N.
    • Take the exit on the left.

    • Turn RIGHT onto 1ST ST N.
    • Turn LEFT onto N 3RD AVE.
    • Arena is on left.

    • Turn right on 84th St.
    • The Pettit Center is in State Fair Park on left; follow signs

Plover (Central Wisconsin)

  • Goal's & Dreams Ice Arena, 6867 4th St., Stevens Point, WI 54481, (715) 592-5004
    • Hwy 10 West towards Stevens Point
    • At Amherst take the exit for Highway B south/west towards Plover
    • After 5-7 minutes, take a right on Highway J.
    • Go thru tiny town of Arnott, and take a right on 4th street by Arnott Lions Park (there's a baseball field there on the right).
    • Take first driveway on right, look for mustard colored building.

SHAW

    • Hwy. 41 south to Milwaukee (becomes Hwy. 45)
    • Follow I-894 (straight) around Milwaukee
    • Exit 27th St., (Hwy. 41)
    • Go north (left) on 27th St.
    • Turn right on Howard Ave. (2nd light)
    • Go down hill and turn right at sign for Wilson Park
    • Approx. travel time 1:50

Shawano

  • Shawano Expo Center, 255 S. Waukechon St., Shawano, WI 54166, (715) 526-5336
    • WIS 47 north to WIS 29 west
    • Travel west on WIS 29 to exit 227; this is the exit for WIS 47 / 55
    • Turn right (north to Shawano) on WIS 47 / 55 for about 0.25 miles to Hwy B
    • Turn left on Hwy B and go about 1 mile to the 2nd intersection, which is Waukechon.
    • Turn right (north) on Waukechon
    • Proceed north on Waukechon for about 1.5 miles; rink is on left (west) side of road.
    • Rink is on the County Fair Grounds. Use Fair Expo entrance to reach the rink which is just before the Super 8 Motel.

    • Hwy. 47 North to Bonduel
    • old Hwy 29 West to downtown Shawano
    • Turn left on Hwy 22 (Main St.)
    • Turn right on Sunset Dr. (Hard to see, there is a bar on the left and a white house with many windows on right. If you cross the river you have gone too far.)
    • Rink is at the end of Sunset (about two blocks)

Stevens Point (Portage County)

    • Turn right on Badger Avenue
    • The rink is up this road on the right side
    • There is a green highway sign that does say Badger Avenue as you are approaching it.
    • There is also a Youth Sports Complex sign, right at Badger, but it is kind of hard to see.

    • Hwy 10 west to Stevens Point
    • Turn right on Minnesota St. (after Hwy 10 splits and becomes a one way street)
    • Arena is on left and is part of the Athletic complex

    • Hwy 26 south to Hwy 151 south
    • Take the I-39 S/I-90 E/I-94 E exit- exit number 97A- toward CHICAGO/MILWAUKEE.
    • Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
    • Merge onto I-39 S/I-90 E.
    • Take the County Road-N exit- exit number 147- toward STOUGHTON/COTTAGE GROVE
    • Turn RIGHT onto County Road N.
    • Turn RIGHT onto US-51
    • Turn RIGHT onto S 4TH ST.
    • Proceed approx. 4 blocks (crossing the bridge).
    • Turn left into the fairgrounds. The Mandt Community Center is directly across from the fair stands.
