Participation in this program is voluntary. SCRIP is a gift certificate/gift card purchase program. These cards are equivalent to, and are used just like cash. We offer AAHA families a broad selection of gift cards for purchase at their full retail value. AAHA is able to purchase the cards at a discount and the difference between the face value and the discounted purchase price is the profit amount. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be 90% credited to the skater’s account; 5% to the AAHA scholarship fund; and 5% to SCRIP program administration.

SCRIP gift cards may be used to pay for your own purchases or given as gifts. An easy way  to offset your skater’s fees is to use SCRIP for your everyday purchases such as food, gas, clothes, hotels, and home remodeling. They are also the perfect gifts for babysitters, nieces, nephews, grandparents, teachers, aunts, uncles, coaches, etc. Each merchant has its own rules that dictate how and when gift cards may be used. This website also has MANY more retailers which are not listed on our order form. Please feel free to add merchants in the blank spaces on page 3. If a merchant is on the master list, they are available to be ordered. Also, in the future, we are hoping to offer online ordering, however at this time only paper orders will be accepted.

Please note that the list of retailers and percentages is subject to change and that discount percentages offered by Great Lake SCRIP (GSLC) may vary from the time we prepare our order forms until the actual order is placed. Please use the current order form to ensure that you are getting the appropriate credit for your order. The actual discount percentage will be the prevailing discount on the day the AAHA order is placed with GLSC

1.  Beginning  with the 08-09 season, the SCRIP program will follow the calendar year.  The money in individual's account from Feb 1, 2007 to Jan 31, 2008 will go toward the 2007 - 2008 season.  The money raised from Feb 1, 2008 - December 31, 2008 will go toward the 2008 - 09  registration year.
