This past season started back in September with some of the first conditioning practices for the Freeze, but the success of the 10U team started much earlier than this season.  All of the players on this year’s 10U roster are in their second or third season of full ice hockey, have participated in off season skating sessions/camps and have spent multiple years in organized Intro and Mite programs.

Years of Experience Total Full Ice Mite/Intro
Team Total 54 25 29
Average per Player 4.9 2.3 2.6

The players have definitely put in the time to make themselves better and the practice time would not be possible without a large group of capable, willing coaches and all the support the players have from family members.  Volunteers were needed to coordinate jerseys, locker room monitoring, fund raising, team building activities and community service.  This is all in addition to the countless hours needed to get players to and from the rink, not to mention the time and expenses that add up away from the rink.
